TO ALL OF THOSE THAT ONCE HAD A LEMONADE STAND
The other day, I was explaining to a friend that my neighbour and I use to sell lemonade and cake outside of our homes as children. Then I thought to myself, “Someone should make a lemonade cake. I would buy it. Wait a moment. I can make lemonade cake!”.
And voila! Today’s dessert was born.
I am very proud of my new invention. This lemonade bread is the perfect marriage between sweet and sour.
Total time: 45 minutes
Makes: 1 loaf
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl and all the wet ingredients in another. Then, mix all the ingredients together. Let the batter rest for at least 20 minutes to rise. Grease the mold and pour the batter. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes.
To make a glaze, mix 2 tablespoons of icing sugar and 1 tablespoon of warm lemon juice.
